I MOVED BACK TO ARGENTINA!

 This is Lorenna:

Few months ago, I moved back to Argentina. I had to leave the vegan movement in Galway, but I started a new one in the city where I moved, which is in southern Argentina, in the Patagonia, the city is called Bariloche, you can find me there!

The name of the group is HERMANDAD VEGANA (VEGAN BROTHERHOOD)

This is the link to find us on FB http://www.facebook.com/Hermandad.Vegana

I'm still in touch with Galway and the vegan movement there is very much alive!

And of course, you still can contact me for any questions, in Galway or Argentina!

December 10 - International Animal Rights Day

Join us in our Galway's Animal Rights organised by the new Galway Animal Defenders

Taking place on Friday 10 December which is International Animal Rights Day.

"Animals have a right to life free from deliberately inflicted pain, suffering, exploitation and death"

With your love and suport, we'll hold a peaceful candlelit vigil on Shop Street at 6 pm to 8 pm on that day.

Many similiar vigils are being held all over the world, to remember our animal friends who are tortured and killed every minute of every day.

We will supply all the banners, placards and candles.
P L E A S E
: BRING A SMALL GLASS TO PUT THE LIGHTED CANDLE IN AND SHELTER IT
(and maybe your umbrella, you know... Galway!).

We'll sing some peaceful protest songs and influence many people to seriously consider how they view animal and hopefully have a big change of heart.

Afterwards we'll go for tea and refreshments to a nearby inn, where we intend to watch the latest DVD from the VEGAN SOCIETY: "Making the Connection". It should be good craic there as well.

Everybody is welcome to join our vigil, bring your friends and family, WE ARE THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS!

If you would like to be there, PLEASE send us an email to nim_amroth(at)yahoo.com
It is VERY IMPORTANT that we hear from you. We need to work out the numbers and decide the quantity of materials required.

Looking forward to hearing from you!!

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has."

Margaret Mead 1901 - 1978

"The annual International Animal Rights Day (IARD) - 10th December - aims to remember the animal victims of human tyranny and call for the recognition of our Universal Declaration of Animal Rights (UDAR). The goal of this historic campaign is to build on the recognition of human rights, and persuade humanity that kindness and respect is due to all sentient creatures."

“Animals share with us the privilege of having a soul.”
